FAQ
Common questions about Yogen and Canton prediction markets.
- What is Yogen?
- Yogen is a prediction market built on Canton Network. It means "prophecy" in Japanese. You forecast outcomes, trade on your conviction, and winners get paid—with private transactions, no MEV, and no front-running.
- Why Canton instead of Ethereum?
- Ethereum has public order books, front-running, and zero privacy. Canton gives us private transactions by default, no MEV, and a regulatory framework that makes sense for institutional finance. We’re building on the right system.
- How does pricing work?
- We use LMSR (Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule)—the same math Polymarket, Augur, and Gnosis use. Prices adjust automatically as people trade. You bet on outcomes; the market finds the price.
- Is it audited?
- Yes. The platform went through seven independent audit passes covering backend, frontend, smart contracts, and infrastructure. The final security score was 100 out of 100.
